Sign In to Windows Mail Communities

I have seen this since I first posted here and looked at other posts:
For each post I read, in the upper right corner area is the text 'Rate this
Post' along with a button to [Sign In]

I click the button and nothing.
So, before I just put a question in, I went through the Windows Mail Help
and Support via Help tab at the top of the Windows Mail tool bar.
Here is what it said:
-------------------------
Follow these steps to sign in to Communities from Windows Mail:

Click to open Windows Mail.

In the folder pane, click Microsoft Communities.

Click the Tools menu, and then click Microsoft Communities: Sign in.

Note
If you are subscribed to newsgroups that don't support Communities, this
option will not appear.
-------------------------

Now it seemed to be very clear.
I followed the steps. After clicking on 'Microsoft Communities: Sign in'
nothing else happened.
I still cannot rate a post; do not receive any messages admonishing me that
I did it wrong, or I was not signed in, nor that I did not have permission
to do such task.

Tried using the sign-in button that appears at the top of the main Windows
Mail screen, for signing in.. that did not work either.

When I do put out a post, I am reminded that if I do not sign in, the
message is not going to be treated with the same way as a message from a
signed in person would be. (sorry - do not have a copy and paste of that
message yet -- will add that shortly)

I am subscribed to this thread and can post messages as you see.

I cleared out the copy of my original from this reply to make it a bit
clearer.
Here are copies of what I get when I do send a message to these forums.
=====================================================

[Left hand corner shows the 'i' message indicator]

Your post will not have Communities features unless you are signed in to
Microsoft Communities. Would you like to sign in now?

check box [for] Don't ask me this again. YES button and NO button

Get help from communities [link]

-------------------------------------

It does not matter if the check box above is checked or blank, the message
still appears for each new post.

If you click on the YES button, the pop-up is just re-presented.

Now, once the NO button is selected, a second pop-up appears stating that
the post is being sent to the server.
Again, with a check box for showing the message again and the OK
confirmation button.

The "community"-feature is buggy. It only causes problems and its use is
close to nothing.

Just turn it off (Tools | Options).

Sounds like a plan.
Thanks!

It doe not only "sound" so. <gbg>.

The "communities" feature really is that buggy that I do not know anyone
who has not disabled it after a very short time if using WinMail.

De nada. That's what we are here for ;-)
