Communities Features

A Windows Mail message box directed me to this page. I am attempting to
set-up a newsgroup on Windows mail and my first REPLY through Windows Mail
brought-up a message box that says: my post will not have Communities
Features unless I am signed-on to Microsoft Communities. Would I like to
sign-on now? YES / NO

When I click YES, the box just reappears. What now?

In as much as these features seem to be trouble prone (they certainly are
for me), you're probably better off not using them - I don't. The features
require a Passport/Live/Hotmail ID.

Try clicking No and proceed to the groups. That service is flaky
sometimes. Try enabling it later.

If you are confused by a suggestion to click "no", perhaps you really need
on-site support.

The Communities feature is very buggy, and you will be better off
disabling it: Tools, Options, on the General tab unselect "Use newsgroup
message rating features".
