IE 6 and running XP Pro. With Webroot for Malware detection and Norton for
Virus and no apparent problems.

I have lost my normal ability to access my Hotmail account. When I type
www.hotmail.com into the address bar. I am unable to get the passport log in
window. When I type the URL and click “Go†the address bar shows this address:

http://loginnet.passport.com/login....tw=0&fs=1&fsa=1&fsat=1296000&lc=1033&_lang=EN

Bottom of page shows: “Opening page:
http://login.live.com/login.srf?id=...tw=0&fs=1&fsa=1&fsat=1296000&lc=1033&_lang=EN

After a two or three minute wait, I get a message that says: “Website found,
waiting for reply.†After another long wait, I get a message that says:
“Connecting to site 65.54.179.248.†After another long wait, I get “The page
can not be displayed……â€

When I go to MSN.com and click on the Hotmail link, the same scenario plays
out again and I can’t get the log in window that way either.

When I type in this address:
https://msnialogin.passport.com/ppsecure/post.srf?id=2&svc=mail&mspp
I get the log in window almost instantly, but it has the following message:

"The e-mail address or password is incorrect. Please retype the e-mail
address and password, or sign up if you haven't already done so. Need help
signing in?"

When I enter my e-mail address & Password I see my Hotmail Ok. But this is
really a nuisance. Can some one please tell me how to fix this and get back
to the normal situation?

Any help will be greatly appreciated
