Hi to all,

I just gor a new PC with XP installed.
When I click on Start/ Turn off Computer/ Turn off
the PC turns off with out me pressing the Turn on/off button.
The problem is that the Monitor, Printer and the other stuff what is
getting power from the back of the PC is not turned off.

Is there a way that the shutting down is like in 95/98
= wait until I see the "It is save to switch off" message and use the
Power button to switch evry thing off?

Regards Gery

Have a great day, and thanks for any replays.

Unless these peripherals are actually plugged into your computer, and not a power strip or extension cord, no.
