shutting down during bootup and keeps doing this....

I turn on my pc (win xp home) and I get to the boot menu, but now whatever I
choose (safe mode, last good) windows wont start. After about 5 sec showing
me a black screen with a blinking cursor on the top left, it shuts down and
restarts. What can I do? Any help appreciated

I have the same problem. Any help will be highly appreciated.
