shutdown/standby/hibernate problems

Hello,

Could anyone please help me. My computer recently started not responding when I try to do shutdown, standby or hibernate. It usually responds withing 5-20 mins at random. If anyone has any idea on how to fix this, please let me know.

Those issues are usually some conflict in the ACPI settings of the BIOS. You probably need to upgrade, or perhaps just repair your
BIOS.
