Shutdown RESTARTS the machine ALL the time...

I have to pull the power cord to turn it off. Driving me
crazy!! Updated all virus definitions.. ALL 2000 critical
updates installed SP4.. Swapped memory and HD just to be
sure. I reset CMOS. I went into power advanced settings
and made sure restart on errors is OFF. Surfed all
weekend for solutions. ARGHHHH!!!!!!!

anyone? thanks in advance!
 
I've got same problem.. just started this week. Any ideas
what causd problem.. and bettery yet, how to fix the
problem?
 
I'm glad that i'm not alone.
Any suggested solution from microsoft?
