Shutdown problem on XP

Hello,

I got a shutdown problem on my laptop lately, when I
shutdown the XP it will restart automatically. Can anyone
tell me how to solve it.

First step is to disable auto restart on error so that you can see the
error. Control panel---system---advanced--remove X from restart on error.
Then, check the event viewer for a possible clue.
