XP!!

CAN ANY BODY KNOW HOW TO SWITCH THIS OLD FASHION SHUT DOWN WINDOW TO THE NEW
ONE?

THANKS.

Hi Ado,
Try this Start>control panel>user accounts>change the way users log on and
off, tick Use the Welcome Screen option.
hope that helps,
Martin

I always use this key sequence to shutdown the system.

CTRL+ESC+U+U
CTRL+ESC+L+L (to logoff)

For me, this is the easiest way. If you want the classic style shutdown
dialog, follow Martin's advice. Alternately, you can use the Shutdown.exe
command-line tool to instantly shutdown the system by setting the timer
parameter to 0. For more information, type CMD /K SHUTDOWN /? in Start, Run
dialog. You may then create a shortcut to shutdown.exe command-line, and
place it in the Quick Launch if you want.
