Hi everyone :)
I will cut a very long story short.
After major problems my computer was restored back to factory! Sp2 has also
been installed on my computer too now.

My major problem is when i click on start and then shut down it takes at
least 10 minutes for the shutdown screen to appear. not good if your in a
rush!!!
Once the shut down screen appears and i click on shut down my computer then
takes anything from 10 minutes to 30 minutes to actually shut down.

Could someone please tell me what this problem could be.
thanking you heaps in advance

Aussie Girl, before shutting down remove any CD media from your cd
drives. Also, rt click on Taskbar>select Task Manager>Look under
Applications to see what's running and under Processes>CPU. The only high
number should be
at the bottom System Idle Process which is usually 99. All the rest should
be 00 or not much higher. If you have any
high numbered processes. Write them down and Post here.
