Shut down error message

When I shut down my computer, I get the following dropdown message: I can
click ok and this message dissapears
or I can wait about a minute and it disappears on its own and continues
shutting down. This is no big problem but
it is annoying.

CorUpd.exe- application error
The instruction at "0x77e7a67a"referenced memory at"0x0042d55c". The memory
could not be" written".
Click OK to terminate the program.

Thanks to anyone and all for reading and responding.

Bill,

If you have WordPerfect, then it’s WordPerfect Office Update.
Try to disable it in Options/Preferences.

Hope it helps

CorUpd.exe is part of Corel software's auto-update. Try
to turn off the auto up-date funtion. The problem should
be solved.
