I cannot determine what this dropdown error message is
about. It does not cause a problem, all I do is press OK to terminate the
program.
The error message reads:The instruction at "0x2e-4c9e97"
referenced memory at ""0x3175cd38". The memory could not be "read". Click
ok to terminate the program.

What action do I need to take?

Help appreciated,

It's either a malfunctioning application or your Physical RAM
may have issues. Are you running a particular program when
the exception message appears ? Is your machine reasonably
free of Malware ? If you do not use Spyware detection apps
I'd recommend you get & run AdAware/Spybot and perhaps
run a on-line Virus/Spyware scan from an alternate vendor
than the security software on your PC. I'd recommend the
scans available at http://trendmicro.com
