shockwave updater icon in taskbar

it popped up, I think I do remember recently updating shockwave recently but
not totally sure.
Anyway, I cannot right or left click on it to do anything with it.
Anyone know how to make it go away ?

Thanks Robear.
I went to download it and left the computer running whilst I stepped away
for about 30 minutes. ( dial up, everything takes forever )
In any event, when I got back and checked it, the screen said something to
the effect ( can't remember exactly ) : " out of memory, unable to buffer
screen "
So, I tried to re download it and when I did, it said download complete.
The icon is still down there so not sure what now?!
