shell32.dll,-21787

Upon starting my machine a desktop-notepad message appears reading :
[. ShellClassInfo]
LocalizedResourceName=@%SystemRoot%\system32\shell32.dll,-21787

I have no idea of the meaning and would like to remove it from my start up,
would someone please be able to give me easy step by step instructions. Many
