Error Message on Reboot

When I reboot, a notepad file opens on the desktop with the
following message:

[.ShellClassInfo]
LocalizedResourceName=@%SystemRoot%\system32\shell32.dll,-21787

Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

From the sound of it it looks like the work of crafty virus or malwares on
your system.
Did you download any Music/Video lately from the net?.
Scan for Viruses and malwares on your computer and make sure all clean, last
time I seen this was Virus on the machine and making lots of desktop.ini
files in many directories on the system.

This is a common problem and has nothing to do with malware.

The MS kb article did the trick. Used msconfig.startup to clear the offending line.
