Sharing USR USB Faxmodem across network

I am trying to share a USR Faxmoden, USB connection, across a network
so any computer can use the modems fax capabiliy. When I hit "share"
and ok, I get a Support Spoolapp Server error. I then have to restart
the computer for the printers to work on that computer. What can the
reason be?
OS: Win XP
USR Modem, external, Model # 5633..

Not possible under Windows XP, the Fax service cannot be shared. You need
Small Business Server (SBS), Windows Server 2003, or a third party group Fax
application to share a Fax modem across a network.
