Sharing a printer

I need to share my printer. I've looked in the help sections for my printer
and the help and support on windows. I've followed all the instructions.
one thing continues to go wrong. to set printer permissions, help and
support tells you to hold ctrl and right click the printer, click on
properties, and go to the security tab. However, when i do this there is no
security tab. am i ot supposed to hold ctrl or is it supposed to be a
different button or is there a setting i need to change? I think that it
would let me share the printer if i could access this security tab.

There is no security tab on an XP Home PC.
