Sharing a calendar with outlook 2003

High,

I need to share a calendar among users using outlook 2003
under ms xp home edition ( 4 computers with local pst
files). I tried to create a shared pst file on the server
( windows 2003 server workgroup mode). But everytime a
user opened the shared pst file, it blocked the access
for the other users (users have full security access to
the file). Is there any other way to share a calendar
other than installing exchange ?
