I am setting up a simple intranet site using FrontPage 2002 and SharePoint on
a windows 2000 pro.

Upper management wants the ability to upload documents with some type of
password logon so only a few members of upper management can read the docs.
I did setup an entire new page requiring a userid and password that would
take the upper mgmt people to those documents, but they didn't care for that
-

Is there anyway to password protect individual folders using SharePoint?
Thanks!

Clarify
Are you Using Windows SharePoint Services (v1 for W 2000)
Or are you using the FP Server Extensions (also called Sharepoint in the Dialogs)
- in which case you are probably best off using ASP Upload and ASP to manage permissions
