Shared printer w/Mac

Does anyone know how to enter the IP address to get an
iMac to share a printer in a Win2K workgroup environment.
The URL I used was \\computername\USB001, which is the
port of the Lemark printer. The Mac tells me I must enter
a valid IP address and to contact the network
administrator, which is me!!!

It is expecting the printer to be directly connected to the network with a
NIC and its own IP# rather than shared by a server.

Printers not capable of having a NIC can use one of those small external
printer server boxes.
