Printing on MAC printer from Win XP via Router

I have an Win XP computer and an IMAC G5 both connected to a Linksys WRT54G
router via ethernet. The IMAC has an Epson Stylus Photo RX500 printer
attached via USB. I have set up the IMAC as a one of my network places and
am able to transfer files.

I added the Epson as an optional printer identifying it as being at the
appropriate network address. I also loaded the Epson Driver on the PC from
the install disk. When I attempt to print I get the following:

"Communicatin Error"
"Check all connections and make sure all devices are on. If the power was
turned off during printing, cancel the print job. If the error does not
clear, see your printer documentation."

I am able to PING the IMAC, so the connection does not appear to be the
problem.

An IMAC suggestion for windows users sharing the MAC printer is to configure
an SMB/CIFS network printer using a Postscript printer driver (even tho' the
RX500 is not Postscript).

I can not figure out how to do this...HELP, PLEASE.

I solved my problem by installing "Bonjour" for Windows which I downloaded
from Apple.com. It immediately recognized the MAC printer on my network and
set up the appropriate (Postscript) drver.
