I have a network running between my two computers, one with Windows XP Professional, the other with Home Edition. I've been sharing a music folder between the two for months now, but today out of the blue the folders I was sharing disappeared from network places, and in place of them I found folders called "shareddocs" which will not open because the target.ink is wrong and I don't have access and all of these other crazy things. I haven't touched anything so I'm pretty much completely mindblown at this point. The original folders still exist on the other computer, so what's going on here? Thanks for your time.

I'm sorry, but I don't know what caused the change. However, you can
put things back to the way they were. In My Network Places:

1. Right click and delete the undesired folders.

2. Click "Add a network place" and add the ones that you want.
