Shared folder on pc

I have created a DFS share, that I added to my network
places. We have disabled netbios/Wins and will be getting
rid of mapped drives.

Users can get to the shared DFS folder, but how would a
user get to someone elses shared folder on a pc, if they
can't browse the network?
 
You still have DNS for name resolution, otherwise you'll need to remember every IP on your network.
