I have two computers that I would like to have use the same PST. I don't
have exchange (just to get that out of the way). Does anybody have any good
ideas about how to do this effectively? I want my calendar to show up on my
wife's computer.

Has anybody tried using groove to do this?

If you only want to share the calendar, then set up a free Yahoo account and
download the Yahoo Intellisynch software. That will enable you to synchronise
Calendar between the two pst files....

You are probably not adviced to do this - but - try sharing a folder that
holds the pst on your computer. Then invite your wife to share this folder.
Then set wifes outlook to point to this pst file.
Really you should use a shared calender in outlook - or some thing like that

This was my first thought, but, I wasn't certain what would happen to Outlook
if I did this (or if my computer that houses the pst was turned off). I
don't want to do shared calendars in Outlook, since you aren't able to make
changes to the calendar, just read it, on the shared computer...big drawback.
I want her to be able to update my calendar as well.

I'll test out the shared pst.

Thanks!

Several caveats apply to sharing a PST this way. First, if any hiccups
occur on the hosting PC while the remote PC is accessing the PST, you can
ruin the PST. Second, only one Outlook at a time can be open. Third, you
can't turn the hosting PC off if you want the folders to be available.
Forth, neither PC can tell if the other PC has downloaded a message, so if
both PCs reference the same ISP mailbox, they'll both download the same
messages if copies are left in the mailbox.
