SFC is useless

Ooh! I think my SP1 CD is just the plain old SP1 variety, so MS MAY
have changed the sfc files version for the "a" version.

I believe the only difference between SP1 and 1a is the absense of MS
JVM in 1a.

It would be
nice if MS had some pages detailing each variety of XP's files and the
file versions, but I can't seem to find anything like that.

With the tens of thousands of web pages they have a few more couldn't
hurt.

It'd be even nicer if they had some decent search engine built into
their sites. I've had better luck searching for MS KBs using Google than
directly searching on the KB site.
