Several of my icons are whacked out!

I should have posted this when I initially saw it, but several of my icons
look like the 'default' icon. (See the following site for an example of what
my icons look like: http://img233.imageshack.us/img233/1420/foldersfa9.jpg
). I have tried TweakUI and it didn't help. I'm using Windows XP SP 3.

Again, I believe I've tried everything I've researched but to no avail.
Some of the icons that are messed up are IE and under my 'Start Menu': Email,
Set Program Access and Defaults, Help and Support, and Run. Those are just a
few.

Someone please help me.

Thanks!

I suggest you try a System Restore.

Did you try pushing "Restore Defaults"?

Does the correct program open when you click a "whacked out" icon? If so
and the above doesn't fix it you can change the shortcut icons to whatever
you want by right clicking, properties, change icon, browse if necessary.
