Setup from USB CD

Hi,
I've a laptop equipped with a USB cd rewriter (Waitec
Freesby II) and i've to install windows 2000 pro; now i'd
like to know if USB cd are supported from windows 2000
setup disks.

Yes, Windows itself (and the disks) do support USB CD drives. But the issue
here is whether your BIOS does. Some older BIOS don't allow you to boot from
a USB CD-ROM. If yours doesn't, you'll probably need to make setup disks.
Check out your mobo documentation or go into your BIOS and see if booting
from a USB device, particularly a CD-ROM is supported.
