Setting up multiple e-mail boxes in Outlook

Dear Outlook Newsgroup-

Is it possible to configure Outlook to accept e-mail to
more than one e-mail address? By this I mean, say I have
two brothers, Tom and Mark, along with myself, Bill, and
we want to set up Outlook to receive e-mail for each of us
at separate e-mail addresses - (e-mail address removed), (e-mail address removed)
and (e-mail address removed), and give us each a folder/directory
structure, etc. Some sort of password protection would be
necessary to ensure security, but if it can't be made all
that secure, that's ok, just having Outlook
receive/partition e-mail for multiple addresses would be
great.

Any answers as to whether this is possible, how to set it
up, and/or what sections of relevant manuals, books or on-
line help files should be consulted are most welcome.

Yes there are 2 ways of doing this, it all depends on how technical you want to get into it
Method 1: A profil
Outlook has the capability to have more than one profile which means each person can have a non-secure login when opening outlook. You can add a profile for each person and that way you do not have to create a pst file for each email address

Method 2: password protect your pst fil
Create a pst for each person with an email account, set up a rule that if an email is received to a particular account move it to the appropriate folder. When you create a new pst (file-new-outlook data file) there will be an option to password protect it. If you do supply a password, please remember it, it cannot be overwritten, meaning you will lose the data if you can't open it

The profile method may not be available depending on the version/mode of
Outlook being used. If the original poster reads this, he may want to post
his Outlook version, and if he's using Outlook 98 or 2000, he should say
whether he has it configured in Internet Mail Only mode (no profiles) or
Corporate/Workgroup mode (profiles are possible).

But not if it's in Internet Mail Only mode. It must be in
Corporate/Workgroup mode. This, of course, depends on the version of
Outlook, which was not stated.
