setting up Motzarella for newsgroups

J

jayzeiss

I have just joined the 'Be' service provider and they don't provide
access Newsgroups.

I want to use Motzarella to access the newsgroups. Could anyone
please give a few pointers on how to set up Motzarella. I've done a
google search and just get inundated with information, that doesnt
seem helpful. Thanks

Wikipedia is a good source of information for what you're after:

Mozzarella is a generic term for several kinds of originally Italian cheeses
that are made using spinning and then cutting (hence the name; the Italian
verb mozzare means "to cut"):
a.. mozzarella di bufala, made from water buffalo milk, which in Europe is
sold as mozzarella di bufala campana, a DOP designation for the cheese made
from buffalo milk produced in Campania
b.. mozzarella fior di latte, made from fresh pasteurized or unpasteurized
cow's milk
c.. low-moisture mozzarella, which is made from whole or part skim milk,
and widely used in the foodservice industry
d.. smoked mozzarella
Enjoy your meal!

Never heard of it. If you are thinking Mozilla, that has evolved into
Seamonkey, and that is what I use.

Fred thanks. most helpful. in your link for a 'proper' newsreader is
there one you would recommend please?

You already have Outlook Express. it will read newsgroups fine.
Thunderbird is a free news/mail reader.
Agent is another free news reader.

I use Thunderbird. I like the Mozilla Thunderbird & Firefox products.
But you should try any or all. They each have good points. They all
"feel" different.

I support Big Al.
Try some and choose whatever you like.
I tried Xnews, Xananews, Dialog, Gravity and I prefer (Forte) Agent.

Before that I used OE and Thunderbird (still used for email).
(but that is some years ago.)
