setting up email account.

It asked me for my server name and I put in the correct information and, it
shot me back an error. Any ideas why it would do this???

It would be helpful, neigh essential, to share your secret
error message with us if you want help since all our
crystal balls are out of commission.
 
i am having the same problem. It said I put in the wrong server name. I
didn't out the werong one in. I do know my name
 
Well, we can't very well guess the correct server name for you.
Your ISP or mail provider has that information on their website.
Or you can tell us who your mail provider is, and we will look up
the correct settings for you.
It would be helpful if you included the complete error message,

umm ok tasht too we will agree that you know YOUR name .. but what about
your SERVERS name
