Sending email's from window mail

I have been trying to set up window mail so I can send emails straight from
word. I am having the error message:
"The host 'POP3' could not be found. Please verify that you have entered the
server name correctly.
Subject 'Resume may 2010', Account: 'POP3', Server: 'POP3', Protocol: SMTP,
Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 11001, Error Number: 0x800CCC0D"
come up. I do not know how to set this up. What information do I put in the
box where it ask what type of server my email address uses (ie. POP3,) and
how do I find this information, and when I do how do I go back and put the
correct information in. Please Help!!!

I dont know your server name but this is how it works:

Click on Tools: click on accounts: click on your e-mail name. Click on
Properties.
Click on Servers. POP3 goes in the first box. Underneath where it says
Incoming Mail (POP3): type inside the box pop3 and your server name. e.g.:
pop3.ntlworld.com.
Unerneath where it says Outgoing Mail (SMTP): type inside the box smtp and
your server name e.g.: smtp.ntlworld.com.
On the connections tab, try to use: Local Area Network

Hope this helps.

"POP3" is not a valid mail server name. You get the correct mail
server names from your mail service provider.
Do you have an existing email address? If so, what is the part of
your email address after the @ symbol? That part represents your
mail service provider.
Your mail provider will typically have a web page that shows how to
set up an email program. If you need more help, tell us the name of
your email service provider. If you currently don't have an email
address, we can help with that also.
