setting up additional domain controller

Hi,

I need to install an additional domain controller &
promote it to a new DC & get rid of exisitng DC. i will be
trying the following steps. Please comment if this
procedure is right or wrong.

1. Join the new server as an additional domain controller
to existing DC
2. tranfer GC to the new DC
3. Remove the GC from old DC
3. Demote ADS from the old DC
4. Tranfer all user data's, install applications in new DC
5. Remove the Old server from network.

1 thing....after you make the new DC a GC, keep them both GCs and then
demote and the roles will transfer and GC will be removed. Make sure DNS is
100% first, read my paper in the download section of mcse2000.com
