Hello,
We have a windows xp laptop that I would like another layer of
security to.
We access a shared network folder via this laptop. When I click the
shared network folder, XP asks for my user name and password. This is
great and it is what I want.
However, I can then go days (provided I do not log off or restart that
laptop) without being asked for my user name and password again when
clicking the shared folder.
I realize that for most, this is a great convenience. For my
situation it is not.
I would like to limit the amount of time that I am permitted to use or
view that network share folder with me entering my user name and
password again. I'm thinking like 60 minutes before I am locked out
of the share and have to enter my user name and password again.
I'm sure there is a setting for it somewhere in the security
settings. I just don't know which setting it is.
Thank you for your help,
