Setting the time for Windows automatic updates is not working

Stickems.

When I attempt to set the time for the installation of Windows updates it
does not work. It stubbornly remains at 3 am at which time the computer is
never on. I am the only user on the PC. Is this another of Microsoft's
mistakes?

works fine for me. incidentally, it'll jsut install them after boot up
if it misses the schedule
