SetConfig Application.

Suddenly when booting my PC (XP3) shows an error message saying that
the above has experienced an error and needs to close. I had installed
a Canon printer which seems to work OK. Could this be the source of
this SetConfig Application message? If so, what can I do about it? If
not, any other suggestions?

Leonard, many thanks for your help. I'm not expecting much help from
HP so I'll uninstall/delete the LaserJet 1012 and run a re-install
from the disc.
