SetConfig Application problem

[PVR]

I use a laptop with XP/SP3. I sometimes get the following Error
Message.

"SetConfig Application has encountered a problem and needs to close."
There are other words including sending a report to MS. This problem
does not seem to affect the way the laptop functions.

What is this all about and how can I correct it?
