I mistakingly set a Web page on my desktop, using the
right click option and then "set as desktop item". I want
to delete it now from my desktop, but can't. I've
searched in all folders, including Desktop, to find it to
delete, but don't know where it's stored. (It's not the
same as a Shortcut.) Can anyone tell me how to remove
this item from my desktop?

Thanks

Right click desktop, properties, desktop tab, customize desktop, web tab,
highlight the page and delete.

Worked like a charm -- thanks!

Go to windows support and look under how to manually
remove programs from the add or remove program tool.
