Set as desktop background - where is it?

I'm sure that when right-clicking an image file in an Explorer folder the
menu included something like 'Set as desktop background'. And this seems
to confirm that:
http://www.microsoft.com/resources/...en-us/windows_use_pictures_as_background.mspx

But I have no such item in my menu. How do I restore it please?

When no items are selected in the right pane, three items show:

View as a slide show
Order prints online
Print pictures

When you click a picture in the right (file) pane, a new item appears
below those three. You see a total of four items under Picture Tasks.

Set as desktop background

You can also find that string in the Registry, although how
it's all wired together, I don't see the connection. It could
be shell32.dll gets localized strings from those particular
registry keys (rather than have all the string resources
stored in shell32.dll itself).

Thanks Paul. It's been a long time since I had 'Show common tasks in
folders' enabled! That certainly does the job. I wonder if I was wrong
about it once appearing in my 'classic' right-click menu?

I was advised elsewhere of the simple answer: the right click menu item
'Set as desktop background' is included when you switch to Thumbnail view!

I knew that once... ;-)
