Services.exe code 128 abort

The problem with uninstall is that the panel is "inactive" and all I get is
a blank panel with a line of text at the top. The thought had occurred!

By clean, do you mean reformat and reinstall? As you know, the fast repair
did not work.

Thx, pjl

ERROR_CTX_WINSTATION_NAME_INVALID for code 7001
ERROR_CTX_WINSTATION_NOT_FOUND for code 7022

These are the only two code meanings I can find.

Jumping late and JMO, but these are kernel errors. _Possibly_ due to
a kernel driver in the Panda software (guessing).

I suggest serious consideration of backing up data and doing a clean
fresh installation is in order.
2 cents worth.

Have you un-installed Panda from Safe Mode already? Any BSOD
information naming a Panda file?

When you view the logged events in Event Viewer in the upper
right corner, third button down is a copy to clipboard, then you
can paste in the body of
a reply message.

Please do so for each of the different System Log events since
last boot so
we can see all of the event detail.

| nums 7000, 7001, 7022, 7026 and 7031.

| Should I pursue these before going to the in place upgrade of

You can navigate to;
HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\panda
and right-click-copy the 'UninstallString' data string then Start|Run and
paste it in the 'Run' box to start the uninstall.

worth one last try.

Thx very much for all the good input.

More later, have to go do some real work now that I've put the day into the
MS bucket.

Not sure of the question but if that all you find it's obviously nothing to
work with. You might get in touch with the application developer on the
correct uninstall method or try installing again.

That was my conclusion so I accepted the inevitable and am reformatting and
going to a clean install. So much for my ghost backup being way out of
date!
