Services : any way to save settings / reimport settings ?

Hi,

I have configured the services on my PC to what I need ( disabled those I do
never need, others on manual because rarely necessary, many on auto because
necessary on everydya basis)

Now, is there a way to save the settings in use ( service-X auto / service-z
disabled ,....) and ( reason for saving !) re-import them, shoudl I ever do
either a reinstall
or restore an image ?

Where are these settings saved ?

TIA

If you are using imaging, then everything will be as it was when you created
the image - there would be no need to import anything.

Yes and I do this on my systems. Go to Start/Run/Regedit and navigate to:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services

Export, name, save.

Note: In some cases, for whatever reason(s) a couple of service settings
are altered. To better test, export what you are using now, import this
export and apply each. The differences should appear immediately.

Good luck!
