save & load network connection settings

Hi,

could you tell me a recommend way to save the network connection
settings?

The WinXpe image is installed on a CF-Card. I`ve also installed the
enhanced write filter. The user is able to change the network settings
-> but these settings will be lost after a restart, because of the
enhanced write filter. Moreover it would be great to change the
network settings without any restart of the OS.

Is there a recommend way to store the network settings in a file (in
the read-write-able section on the CF-card) and after each startup (of
WinXp) these stored settings will be loaded and used for the network
connection?

Is a batch file a good starting point, or are the much better
solutions? And maybe someone could give me some hints how I could
change the network settings (which commands do I need?)?

best regards
Hans

Hi,

I work with FBWF instead of EWF, and it allows you to "unprotect" some
zones, folders, files...

You could unprotect your network-file, then you could always overwrite
it.

Albert
