Network problem

Hi,
I built an image of XPE SP2. I built the network driver for my CPU by
Component Designer and added it to the image in TD. The network chipset is
Intel 82562EM.
When XPE comes up, I see in "Network connections" a LAN Connection and the
hardware is recognised as "Intel PRO/100 VE Network Connection". I'm able to
set an Ip Address and i can see it also by "ipconfig".
My problem is that i'm able to ping a device on the same network from XPE
device but i'm not able to ping XPE device from an another machine.
XPE image in TD doesn't contain "Windows Firewall" and the option "Windows
Firewall/ICS" in "Core Networking" is unchecked.
Any idea?

I think what you are describing is similar to the issue that's been discussed in this NG a few times - not being able to disable
Firewall by just removing components.

What you probably want to try is to disable the Firewall manually. Read how to do that in this tip page:
