Exporting Windows XP Services Settings

Victor

From Administrative Tools > Services, I'd like to be able to export the
"Startup Type" for each service (Manual, Automatic, or Disabled) so that I
can quickly set up new computers with the same services settings.

Is there a way to export these settings, and then IMPORT these settings into
a 2nd computer?

Yep,

"Regshot is a small, free and open-source (GPL) registry compare utility
that allows you to quickly take a snapshot of your registry and then
compare it with a second one - done after doing system changes or
installing a new software product. The changes report can be produced in
text or HTML format and contains a list of all modifications that have
taken place between snapshot 1 and snapshot 2. In addition, you can also
specify folders (with sub folders) to be scanned for changes as well."

Using RegShot:

1. Get ready, open Services
2. Make snapshot 1
3. Set all your desired changes
4. Make snapshot 2
5. Compare and edit the text file, removing comments and stuff.
6. Save-as .reg
