Since I downloaded sp2 my computer has gone from a very
fast DSL to about the speed of a 28k modem. Please
advise, what can I do to make my PC work like it should.
We are using 10% of a 160 gig hard drive. Prior to sp2 my
PC was very fast now it is very slow. It takes forever to
download when I am searching on the web.
Any suggestions how to get my performance back?

Same thing happened to me only I am on a dialup, so you
can imagine what I slowed to. I had to run my modem
driver CD again & that fixed it. I have other SP2
problems now

Might want to check the website of the manufacturer of your network
card for a driver update. There could also be a software program
running in the background that SP2 does not like

Go to the website of your network card manufacturer and get the latest
Windows XP drivers.
