Service Pack installation causes no printing.

I have a SATO M-8450 barcode label printer that works just
fine using the Generic / Text Only driver and a
application that I have created using Delphi 5. However
when I install any Windows Service Pack (2 or 3 to be
specific) my printer no longer prints anything at all. I
don't get any error message and everything still seems to
be just fine except nothing ever comes out of the printer.
If I remove the service pack everything goes back to being
just fine, the printer prints again just as before. I have
searched the internet for others with a similar problem
but haven't found anyone who can help me. Any suggestions?

I've got a similar problem. I can still print Word,
Excel, and Adobe doc's, but cannot print off of the
Internet. If I do a print preview, I get a blank page.
This all seemed to happen after downloading some of the
latest Microsoft security patches in the past few days. I
hate it when I walk into one of their mine fields and then
they don't want to help fix the problem they created
without being paid $99.
