after i install service pack 2 , i cant use internet
explorer i cant download updates,i turned off the
firewall protection because i already have one installed
(computer associate ez firewall) this didnt help , i used
system restore so that i could post this
 
windows firewall is almost useless. but scan for spywares
on your system to ensure a proper install of sp2.
use ad-aware or spybot
lavasoftusa.com safer-networking.org
update and scan with these free programs.
