service pack 2: BUG!

Has anyone noticed their firewall being turned off, after
installing service pack 2? I am not talking about during
the installation, but, ever since the installation. I
checked the appropriate box to make sure the firewall is
always on, yet, when I get an update from my virus
program, Trend Micro, I get a warning note that says my
firewall is off!!! I turn it on, again, but I never had
this problem, with my firewall turning off, before
installing service pack 2. Is this happening to anyone
else???

Mine is similar but not exactly the same. I get a message saying that
I'm not protected, and then notice that the icon in the taskbar for
Internet Security is no longer visible. So I activate it again, and
then, after a while the same thing happens. I haven't figured out the
interval since I just installed the SP yesterday...

Third party firewalls, certainly the latest ZoneAlarm, and I would fully
expect Norton, turn off the Windows Firewall when they come into action.
This is known and expected; no point in doing even part of the job twice
over
