Service pack 2 serious issue

I installed service pack 2. When the installation was done, I wad told to
reboot, I did what I was told. Then comes the serious problem. I never get to
see my desktop. Windows Xp show me a blue screen with white words after the
boot screen and my com restarts and after the boot screen, the blue screen
comes on again and the com restarted and this whole thing repeats again and
again. I didn't get to see whats on the blue screen as the reboot was like
immediately gone. What gives? I formatted my HDD five times last month just
because of this issue with sp2. I serious need help with this. My com doesn't
hang during installation.
