Server is Frozen

After a certain errors showing on events log, the server
is totally frozen and we must unplug the power to get it
to be reset.

Please see the error below

Description: Timeout (30000 milliseconds) waiting for
transaction response from the Norton Antivirus Server
service.

Hi

I've taken over the IT support of a small company and thier having
similar problem. The Windows 2000 Small Business Server become
painfully slow and unusable. After a reboot, I notice that there's lot
of errors in the event log until the reboot (as below):
