serious problem!!!!!

hello,

i am having this serious problem with a worm. trustin - i have tried three
different antispams and it keeps coming back. it is removed when i scan my
computer but when i restart it comes back. please help. i dont know wht to do
at all.

System restore can restore the bad stuff too, AV, malware, adware, etc,
scanners can't scan system restore entries..

Hi,

Sounds as if the worm has got into the System Restore folders. I had
this exact same 'recurrency' problem with a Windows ME PC that came my way a
few years ago - so I switched off System Restore, installed and ran an
anti-virus program (AVG) to get rid of the problem, rebooted the PC,
rechecked with AVG, found that all was OK, and then switched System Restore
back on. Wa-la! no more worm. After that, AVG took care of things and kept
problems away.
